Partner opportunity: Chaplaincy Deconstructed
From our partners at Daring Compassion:
We are thrilled to announce our 2021 Daring Compassion Movement Chaplaincy Virtual Symposium!
The 2021 Daring Compassion Movement Chaplaincy Deconstructed Symposium is a series of online discussions and workshops for movement chaplains and others interested in care, accompaniment, healing and resilience building in social change movements.
Like so many, we originally planned to have an in-person gathering in 2020 – a time of learning, dreaming, networking, encouraging and building our own resilience to continue the work. As we’ve all experienced, plans shifted. The reality of life in a waxing and waning pandemic, continued economic, social and personal stress coupled with the continued aggravation of struggles impacting many of our communities means we can’t yet meet in person and yet — we must continue to center care, accompaniment, healing and resilience building as we imagine and do the work of transformation.
Our online symposium is designed for movement chaplains, healers, social workers, faith leaders, spiritual leaders and anyone who is interested in bringing more spirit & care to movements. It will equip and inspire us to reimagine our movements with healing & resilience deeply integrated into our work, relationships and communities. Together we will imagine movements that are more revolutionary, caring, and irresistible.
