Moral Formations: How Healthy People Create Healthy Relationships is a three-day event from August 13-15 at American University in Washington D.C., directed by the US Army Chief of Chaplains.
The event helps build Chaplain Corps capacity around supporting the development of healthy inter- and intrapersonal relationships for Army personnel, one outcome of which may be the healthy expression of sex and sexuality. “Moral Formations” focuses on the prevention of sexual harassment and sexual assault by treating these complicated, multifaceted issues of moral formation from a variety of vantage points: from Chaplain Corps senior leaders, Army leaders, Army academics, and civilian academics.
There is no cost to register for this in-person-only event. For inquiries and to register, please contact Dr. Katherine Voyles at katherine.h.voyles.civ@army.mil and/or Dr. Nathan White at nathan.h.white.civ@army.mil.
