PAID opportunity for chaplains in higher education!
PAID opportunity for chaplains in higher education!
Dear colleagues,
With generous support from the Ruderman Family Foundation, we are pleased to invite all members of the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab community serving students in higher education to apply for our program addressing student mental and spiritual health.
The program offers training for spiritual care-mental health care provider joint teams to offer jointly facilitated student support groups on your campus. This program is part of the Ruderman Family Foundation’s deep concern for the wellbeing of college students; as such, there is no charge for this training (which takes place virtually), and participating teams will be compensated for their time.
Our program uses a groundbreaking protocol developed at and licensed by Mass General Brigham McLean Hospital. When deployed on your campuses, these jointly facilitated groups can significantly enhance the mental health support offered on your campus, as well as integrate this support within the spiritual support offered to your students. This intervention was successfully tested in an earlier pilot project at Brandeis University and Northeastern University, also supported by the Ruderman Family Foundation.
The training entails only a few hours of your time and can be completed virtually Hadassah Margolis, LICSW, our clinical partner in this work.
This opportunity will provide an honorarium of $1,500 to each team that successfully completes the training and schedules a pilot on their campus. Places are limited and will begin scheduling soon, so please fill out this application at your earliest convenience. Any questions may be directed to info@chaplaincyinnovation.org.
