Moving from the pastoral world to the clinical world had its ups and downs. Now with a masters in psychology and a masters in theology I am bale to bring the best of both worlds to our patients at our 5 hospitals here in San Diego CA. Working along side our psych dept and our spiritual/ethics dept. at Scripps Mercy hospital I have the opportunity to work with and come along side a particular patient group within behavioral health. I love each day having the time and place to be present for a population of people whom society has deemed ” crazy” or helpless. Its actually quiet the opposite I have learned and have been humbled throughout my time working with said population. Every day is new and the energy of positivity calls forth the best in me and those around me.
