Shaunesse’ Jacobs Plaisimond is a 5th year PhD candidate at Boston University School of Theology. Her work centers bioethics and feminist/queer theologies to aid in shifting healthcare and health policy towards a person-centered approach, apart from our current disparity-driven orientation. Her specific healthcare niches are death and dying and maternal/parental care. Apart from studies, when not working, she loves reading investigative journalism, watching nature documentaries, and enjoying live music.
