Alaina Vermilya ’24 (she/her) is a Sociology major at Brandeis University with minors in Social Justice and Social Policy, Education Studies, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her interests include gender and sexuality, families, youth, public interest law and social policy. Outside of Brandeis, she has worked as a Research Assistant for the Institute for Community Research in Hartford, CT and as the Community Engagement Intern for Citizens for Juvenile Justice in Boston, MA.
