Director of Hospital Pastoral Care – Baptist Health Louisville

Baptist Health Louisville is searching for a Director of Hospital Pastoral Care to join our mission-driven healthcare organization committed to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and community service. The Director of Pastoral Care plays a critical leadership role in supporting patients, families, and staff through spiritual care services that reflect the highest standards of professionalism and empathy. This key role ensures the delivery of high-quality spiritual care services while maintaining fiscal accountability, regulatory compliance, staff development, and alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in theology
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a hospital clergy role. Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • Must be certified or eligible to be certified as a professional hospital chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains
