The Chaplaincy Innovation Lab at Brandeis University is recruiting a research manager to start in the summer of 2020. The research manager oversees all research with which the Lab is involved and, in some instances, carries out project-based research. The research manager assists Dr. Cadge in designing the research protocols and preparing research budgets on Lab project proposals, in consultation with the PI and other scholars, for grant-funded projects on contemporary spiritual care in a variety of settings. The research manager is responsible for ensuring IRB approval is in place for all Lab projects. In addition, the research manager facilitates all activities required to support the completion of the research as agreed upon by Dr. Cadge, the funder and the PI. The research manager also ensures that projects are completed within the agreed upon budgets and ensures any variations are reviewed with the funder and supervisor. They also work with PIs as needed on data analysis, preparation of reports and appear as co-authors on final drafts. Please note: this position is physically located in Waltham, MA.
The Chaplaincy Innovation Lab at Brandeis University is recruiting a Financial and Grants Administrator. This position is responsible for managing all the financial activities of the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab under the supervision of Dr. Wendy Cadge. These financial management responsibilities include the preparation of annual budgets, as well as oversight of the financial transactions of the Lab, and the preparation and submission of regular financial reports to Lab leadership. Grant administration responsibilities include the post-award administration, management, reporting and oversight of Federal, Non-federal, Foundation, and other sponsored programs awarded to the Lab, from the receipt of the Notice of Grant Award through award close-out. This position is also responsible for the accurate and timely submission budgets for proposed projects (grants, contracts, fellowships, training awards, etc.), working closely with the Office of Research Administration (ORA). Provides administrative support to Dr. Wendy Cadge. Please note: this position is physically located in Waltham, MA.
