IFS-based CPE Unit

Start date: May 5, 2026
End date: July 28, 2026
All-day event
Location: Inner Sanctuary
Course

The Inner Sanctuary Institute invites clergy, chaplains, and ministry leaders into a new model of Clinical Pastoral Education grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS). This 12-week Intensive summer unit combines traditional CPE formation with IFS practices that deepen self-awareness, spiritual discernment, and compassionate presence in complex ministry settings.

Participants remain embedded in their own ministry contexts while engaging in live online supervision, reflective group process, and guided experiential learning. Through this process, participants strengthen their capacity to accompany others in moments of crisis, grief, ethical complexity, and spiritual searching. The program is suitable for clergy, chaplains in formation, and spiritual caregivers seeking rigorous pastoral formation with psychological and spiritual depth.

Led by Rev. Dr. Celeste Lebak Certified L3 IFSI Practitioner and UU Minister. and CPE Supervisor Rev. Dr. Jacob George

This unit offers 400 total hours and may be applicable toward BCCI or NACC certification pathways.
