Lijun is a PhD student in Sociology at Brandeis University. She got her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Religious Studies from China and got a Master’s degree in Sociology & Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Brandeis. Prior to attending Brandeis, Lijun did fieldwork for four years examining Chinese Christians in Italy. Her research interests include religion, transnational migration, China and Chinese diaspora, gender, and family.
