Fire Chaplains Perform a Variety of Duties

Fire chaplains provide spiritual and other support to those in the fire service and those affected by emergency crisis. They perform a variety of duties both on and away from the scene of a fire.

Rodney Veldhuizen is the fire chaplain for the Custer Volunteer Fire Department and Dakota Territory Fire Chaplain’s Association.
