Air Force swears in first Muslim chaplain

Today, December 18, the United States Air Force will swear in Saleha Jabeen, the first female Muslim chaplain candidate. The event will also feature a discussion of “the significance of diversity based [sic] interfaith chaplaincy” and remarks by Major General Steven Schaick, Air Force Chief of Chaplains, and Commander Abuhena Saifulislam, Command Chaplain, USS George Washington.
