New York Zen Center announces Commit-to-Sit program

From our partners at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care:

Commit-to-Sit: A 90-Day Commitment to Practice

Thursday, January 16th – Tuesday, April 15th, 2020

Celebrate the New Year with an energetic commitment to begin or to deepen your meditation practice. Join an extended community from across the country and around the world for NYZCCC’s fifth annual 90-Day Practice Period.

Each morning for 90 days, participants will receive an email with a reflection drawn from this year’s study text, Wholehearted: Slow Down, Help Out, Wake Up by Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison. The emails will include a thought-provoking reflection to challenge, encourage, and support your commitment to a daily meditation practice.

Participants will also have access to a live-streamed Dharma talk each month and be invited to participate in two live online Q&A discussion with NYZCCC’s Guiding Teachers, Sensei Robert Chodo Campbell and Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison.

Each Commit-to-Sit registration supports the non-profit direct care and educational work of New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care.
