The Lab is turning two, and what a year it’s been!
We are amazed and pleased by all that has been accomplished in supporting chaplains in these challenging times. You and your support have made all of our work possible and we are deeply grateful.
But, the work isn’t done and, on the occasion of our birthday, we are asking for your help. The year ahead promises to be busy and exciting. We’re forging ahead to:
- Support frontline spiritual care providers and projects to address systemic racism.
- Embark on a first-of-its-kind project to map Jewish chaplaincy across the United States to better understand this long-standing area of spiritual care, and partnering with other denominations to bring their chaplains into closer conversation with one another.
- Join with colleagues at Brandeis and Northeastern University to explore how spiritual care and mental health providers can address the enormous needs of students today.
- Blaze new paths in spiritual care to meet communities where they are — especially those previously underserved.
And we’re partnering with many of you in the day-in, day-out of lifting up the profession and moving the conversation forward.
