Jessica Hamar Martínez is an Associate Research Scientist and Senior Data Analyst at the University of Arizona, where she received her PhD in sociology. Her background is in survey research with a substantive focus on U.S. religion. In her previous role as senior researcher at the Pew Research Center, she worked on projects examining religious affiliation, practice, and belief among the U.S. public, as well as how these aspects of religiosity shape other areas of life, such as political and social views.
