Pediatric Chaplain – UR Medicine Golisano Children’s Hospital
I am a knitter, a painter, and a lover of the arts. I am also an Episcopal deacon. During my first night on-call as a clinical pastoral education intern, I knew I wanted to work as a spiritual care provider for the rest of my life. After two years of residency, three years of divinity school, and working per diem and part-time at three area hospitals, I was delighted to be hired as the pediatric chaplain for UR Medicine’s Golisano Children’s Hospital in September 2022. I love providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff. I particularly enjoy celebrating their strengths! I hold an MA in Religious Studies and am board-certified through the Association of Professional Chaplains.
