Zach Herzog is a rostered ELCA minister who specializes in spiritual care in high-trauma settings. He’s passionate about bridging psychiatric and spiritual care, exploring LGBTQ+ spirituality, creating personal rituals, leading spirituality groups, addressing moral injury, and using art and AI as tools for Spiritual Care. Zach earned his M.Div. and M.A. in Pastoral and Spiritual Care from Iliff School of Theology, where he wrote his capstone project on “Reading Leviticus as a Spiritual Care Text.” He has served in ministry at Salt House Church, Holy Spirit Lutheran, and Harborview Medical Center.
