Innovations in Chaplaincy Education

With the support of the Wabash Center and in partnership with ACPE and BU School of Theology, the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab will kick off Innovation in Chaplaincy Education with a free webinar on July 23rd. We will be joined by chaplains and educators from a variety of institutions to discuss the present state of chaplaincy education and how it can be more responsive to the needs of the future. This event will be moderated by: Trace Haythorn, Executive Director of ACPE.

Panelists Include:
Dr. Victor Gabriel,Master of Divinity Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor in the Buddhist Chaplaincy Department at the University of the West. 

Allison Kestenbaum, CPE program supervisor and palliative care chaplain for the Howell Palliative Care Service at UC San Diego Health.

Rev. Laurie Garrett-Cobbina, Ph.D., faculty member at San Francisco Theological Seminary. She occupies the Shaw Family Chair for Clinical Pastoral Education and has the charge to implement and supervise the Clinical Pastoral Education program
