Why partner with the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab?
The Lab is a national organization dedicated to inclusive, research-based innovation in chaplaincy at a time when traditional structures of spiritual life are undergoing rapid change. Partnership with the Lab increases the impact your organization will have in its provision of spiritual care, leverages your existing strengths while adding new tools to your kit, and ensures your organization brings innovative ideas and programs to your community. As a Partner, your organization would ensure access to CIL resources for those staff and / or students you designate. We offer at least (and usually more than) 12 webinars per year, each with clear learning outcomes that help students and chaplains serve others at the highest level of the profession. Many in our community utilize these events for continuing education requirements set by employers, professional associations, and endorsers. Classroom and clinical educators also rely on Chaplaincy Innovation Lab programming both to provide foundational knowledge and keep students up-to-date on the profession. We connect our community with new scholarship, new chaplaincy interventions, and innovative ways to connect the deep experience of individual chaplains to those they serve, whoever and wherever they are. Starting in 2025, the Lab also offers the Moral Injury Certificate Program, one of the most highly regarded credentials available to those addressing moral injury and moral distress.
Chaplaincy Innovation Lab treats the partnership component of our relationship as among our highest priorities. We work closely with our Partners to develop meaningful and actionable programming, support their staff and students, and grow in ways that best serve their communities.

What is the cost associated with partnering with the Lab?
Organizational partners receive significantly preferential pricing on their access to the Lab. Degree-granting institutions are typically extended further concessions. The fee for partnering with the Lab differs from the rate contributed by our individual community members, and is unique to each partner. Your organization’s size, role of spiritual care within the organization, and type of staff and / or students are all part of our conversation.
