How I Work

There’s no blueprint for spiritual care in the context of our climate-changed world.
But spiritual people are doing it anyway – in hospital rooms and forests, in disaster response, and in religious communities.
How I Work is a series of live conversations for climate-conscious spiritual care providers. Four times a year, we invite one practitioner to tell us how they actually do this work. Not polished, not aspirational: truthful.
This month, Rev. Alison Cornish will turn the questions toward Rabbi Ora Nitkin-Kaner. Ora is a climate change chaplain, poet, and liturgist, and the founder of Exploring Apocalypse. She believes curiosity is a spiritual practice, and that we can move from reactivity into responsiveness.
When you register, you can send in your questions; our guests will answer them live.
Sessions will not be recorded. What is said in the room will stay in the room – a gift of the moment.
