I am a Hospice and Pediatric Palliative Care Chaplain and Spiritual Director in Providence, RI with a passion for bringing a little light and peace to people’s lives. I like to change the perception of what people expect from a chaplain with occasional silliness and what I call “irreverent reverence,” such as creating a support group for parents of medically compromised kids who have experienced religious trauma called “the Jerk God Support Group.” I am particularly excited about finding creative ways to support those who might be reluctant to engage with a chaplain, such as healthcare professionals, the anti-religious/unaffiliated, and the LGBTQ community. I am also a PeaceLove CREATOR and love bringing expressive arts into my work. I feel closest to the Source in the kitchen or at the beach and pray best with my eyes closed and heart open.
