As a hospital chaplain for more than 16 years, I provide emotional, spiritual, and religious support to patients, families, and staff of Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware. Every day is different in this dynamic environment, but essential to every contact is the profoundly human, deeply relational character of the chaplain’s engagement. Helping them identify their most important values and find meaning while offering comfort amid grief and loss is the spiritually attuned, clinical skill set I bring to this broadly religious vocation. My credentials include board certification through the Association of Professional Chaplains, fellowship with the Unitarian Universalist Association, and a Master’s degree from Andover Newton Seminary.
