Rev. Paul Chichan Yu-Angel
Hospital Chaplain – University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
I came from Taiwanese Buddhist ancestors, grew up in a Presbyterian household, received education from Non-Denominational Evangelical traditions, and ordained as a United Church of Christ minister.
Being a hospital chaplain is not who I am, it’s just what I do. As a minority of minorities, with my whole being, I am called to enjoy life to the fullest, embrace my most authentic self, be a good steward of all that’s been given, and stay in the presence to exchange inspiration with others.
