
Jeffery Silberman

Rabbi Jeffery M. Silberman, DMin, DD, ACPE Certified Educator, Retired BCC, has spent most of his career as a Board-Certified Chaplain and chaplain educator. He taught previously at Jewish Theological Seminary, Union Theological Seminary and New York Theological Seminary. He published more than 50 articles in professional books and journals. In the greater New York area, he led spiritual care and education departments at Beth Israel Medical Center (now Mt Sinai-Beth Israel), Lenox Hill Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Yale-New Haven Health at Bridgeport Hospital, in addition to USCF-Mt Zion Medical Center. He lives in Westport, Connecticut with his wife Linda Lerman and two cocker spaniels, Walter and Bentley.
