Rabbi Tracy J. Kaplowitz, Ph.D., is director of operations for JWB Jewish Chaplains Council®, JCC Association’s signature program that endorses, trains and supports Jewish military and Veterans Administration chaplains. Kaplowitz is an experienced spiritual leader and educator, having served as a reserve chaplain in the U.S. Air Force and on the professional staffs of the Schechter School of Long Island and the Jewish Education Project.

Kaplowitz was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTS) and holds a PhD in the sociology of education from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has served as peer reviewer for the Journal of Jewish Education and the Journal of Religion.
