Career Development: A Proactive Approach to Relationship Building

Relationships present ways to be of service and increase our impact. They also enable us to discover professional opportunities. Explore ways to be intentional about outreach and ongoing engagement with your network so you can continuously grow, learn, and support.

With support from the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation, the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab will host a 3-part series of interactive career development workshops specifically for chaplains. The series will be led by certified career coach Erica Mattison. The first two sessions of this program can be viewed, in full and at no charge, by requesting the recordings here.

While this interactive series is open to all chaplains, it is intended to help chaplains either launch or sustain newly-launched careers in spiritual care. Each session will include ample time for Q&A; attendees should feel welcome to prepare and bring specific career-oriented questions for discussion.

The series is free but space is limited. Interested chaplains can register for individual sessions below, although attendance at the full series is recommended. Those who attend all three sessions will be entered to win a Chaplaincy Innovation Lab mug filled with chocolate and a free, 30-minute one-on-one coaching session with Erica. Two winners will be selected.
