Introducing our eBook on Episcopal school chaplaincy
by Amy Lawton, Chaplaincy Innovation Lab, based on reporting by Angel Clark
This eBook results from a partnership project between the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab (CIL) and the National Association of Episcopal Schools. The project had three goals: clarify the current state of the field of Episcopal school chaplaincy, including demographics and “pipelines” into the work; identify a number of models whereby chaplains are utilized in Episcopal schools; and begin suggested best practices for spiritual care in Episcopal school settings.
We are grateful to the National Association of Episcopal Schools for its support of this work.
This eBook was launched during a webinar in June 2025 discussing the findings of our work. This webinar was free and open to the public, and can be viewed in its entirety here or below.
